In 2025, I decided it was finally time to put my ideas to paper and write my own romances. I’d been editing them for years, coaching authors on trends and developing their voices. I worked closing with several big romance serial apps, helping numerous originals hit bestselling status. I lived and breathed romance, and I had so many of my own ideas.
So I began outlining and planning and working out how I wanted to do this. To write my own unhinged romances with my favorite tropes and characters. I’ve got enough books planned to release steadily for years.
But then family cirumstances changed. Rather than reducing my editing time and writing more, I needed to edit more for my family. I chipped at my plans steadily, building my worlds and crafting characters between edits and work and caring for my family.
Now it’s 2026. My circumstances haven’t changed, but I’m more intentional with my time. I’ve stepped back from a small gig was sucking up time, and I’m replacing that time with writing.
And I’m making progress.
So here’s to 2026, the year I release monster romance and why choose relationships into the world.
